Ash Jones is: Pirate Billy Bones and Captain Hook
Pirate Billy Bones, aka Ash Jones has considerable experience working with children in theatre and clowning. He has worked on What Now, performed for Tim Bray Productions, and for the last five years toured the show 'A Goblins Tale' around Auckland primary schools. Ash has also worked on-screen in a speaking role on Disney's second Narnia film: Prince Caspian, as well as Disney's Skyrunners. Ash has been a performer with An Enchanted Party for a number of years he is an absolute asset. Ash has a natural rapport with children and brings wealth of acting experience and enthusiasm to his role as Pirate Billy Bones, he is high energy, hilarious, cheeky, nurturing and loads of fun; kids of all ages simply can’t get enough of him!
Ryan Walters is: Captain Flinklock
Captain Flintlock aka Ryan Walters has considerable experience working with children, he is the resident pirate at the New Zealand Maritime Museum and a regular pirate at the water front in Auckland City.
He has written a children’s book called The Pirate That Couldn’t Swim and has gone on to promote water safety to schools and libraries across Auckland.
Captain Flintlock has been a performer with An Enchanted Party for a number of years he is an absolute asset. Ryan has a natural rapport with children and brings a wealth of acting experience and cheeky humour to his role as Captain Flintlock, he is mischievous, hilarious, authentic, warm and loads of fun; the kids simply can’t get enough of him!
Pirate Show
A High Energy, Hilarious, Rollicking Great Pirate will come to your home and Entertain the Children for One Hour. He will tell Wondrous Stories of Life as a Pirate, Give all the Children their Own Crazy Pirate Names, Pirate Tattoos, Enchanting Pirate Secrets, Dance the Pirate Jig with the children, Pirate Stickers for all, Teach Navigation, Sword Fighting and Sword Etiquette, Swashbuckling Pirate Games that will have the Children and the Parents in Stiches! Pirate Creative Play and a Pirate Treasure Hunt with Treasure for everyone!
All the Children receive a Gift to take home and the Birthday Child receives an extra Special Gift!
Pirate Show and Extra Fun 2 hours
Along with the Pirate Show outlined above our Pirate will Sweep the Children up into Magical and Enchanting Creative Play and Games; Sailing the Seven Seas, Walking the Plank, Shooting Cannons, Dodging Sharks, Lessons on Reading Maps and Finding Treasure, Dangerous Sword Fights and mingle with the children as they eat, cut the cake and have photos!
All you will need is an area for your Pirate and all the Children to sit in a circle on the floor together with a CD player or iPod docking station handy, preferably away from parents chatter.
Please note if you are having over 18 children one entertainer will do their best (depending on the children, you may need an adult on hand) but we do recommend having two entertainers in this instance. Please see what our second entertainer does in their show in our main menu bar to get more of an idea on what will be involved in your combined show.

Prices
- 1 hour Themed Entertainer $200 (plus travel if applicable) - $110 each hour after
- 1 hour x2 Themed Entertainers $330 (plus travel if applicable) - $160 each hour after
- 1 hour Face Painting $130 (plus travel if applicable) – 10 amazing faces or 16 simple faces - $90 each our after
- 45 minutes Balloon Twisting $150 (plus travel if applicable) – 40 balloons! - $100 each hour after
You may combine the themed entertainers for double the fun and games!!
Payment can be made to the entertainer on the day by cash or cheque. Please note there is a cancelation fee of 50% of your booking fee required or the option to rebook within one month after the initial party date.

"Hi, I just wanted to send an email to say how awesome it was having PirateScallywag Jim O’Malley at my son's 5th birthday on Saturday. He was so great! He had the kids from the moment he walked up to the gate, pretending that he needed help to read his map and find treasure. Not once during the time he was there (well over an hour!) did we have kids wandering around or coming to see the adults. He had them enthralled the entire time, with sword fights, treasure hunts, pirate stories and talk. He stayed in character the whole time and even when he left he walked (swaggered?) up the road pretending to read his map until the kids couldn't see him and then got in his car once out of sight. He was already a talking like a pirate even on the phone when he initially called me to confirm the party details! He captured the the kids attention the moment he walked into the venue and even in the end, the children had so much fun I think a few of them followed him down at the carpark! Obviously the kids had a blast – my son was even asking me to throw a similar party every weekend and had to tell him it’s only on special occasions – we had to do it because he is 5 and it’s a milestone.
